Rare Disease Day will be marked around the world on February 28 and patients and their families, medical professionals, researchers, government officials, and companies developing treatments for rare diseases are encouraged to join together to focus attention on rare diseases as a public health issue. The aHUS Alliance announced a global project to raise awareness for atypical HUS.
